Happy Sunday TWCC Kids!

Last week we talked about a man named Stephen, a man who had special wisdom and power from God. This week we will talk about a man named Philip. Are you guys ready? Let’s get started.

Philip probably had some questions about why God was sending him down a desert road, but he still obeyed what God wanted him to do. The Ethiopian official had questions, too. Even though he couldn’t see the full picture of God’s Big Story, he still chose to worship God. He wasn’t afraid to ask Philip about something he was reading that he didn’t understand. God used Philip to answer the royal official’s questions, and the story of Jesus continued to spread.  Say this with me: “Keep going even when you have questions.”

Like the royal official, we don’t have to be afraid to ask questions about God. If you don’t understand something you heard or something you’ve read in the bible, ask someone. They can help you learn more about God as you get to know him better and better. And remember, sometimes we might have a question but we can’t find the answer. That’s okay! Even when the answers don’t come easily, we can keep going and keep making wise choices.

Isn’t it cool how God allows us to ask questions? God wants us to seek after him and come to know him better. And there’s so much to discover! Every week here at TWCC kids we learn something new about God by reading the bible and asking questions together. God welcomes our questions so we can get to know him more and more.

Well that’s all I have for us today! I hope you all have a happy Sunday and see you all soon.
