Transforming Fresno and The World
At The Word Community Church, our mission is to work together as “a diverse generation called to transform Fresno and the world.” We believe in a lifestyle of missions that calls every follower of Christ to be ready and willing to “go and make disciples of all nations.” This means making disciples in our backyard and around the globe.
Within Our Community
We want to be known for our generosity toward our neighbors who live throughout the greater Fresno area. Our vision is to “reach them, win them, train them, and send them.”
- We reach them by developing relationships at block parties, providing food and practical assistance
- We win them by sharing the saving message of Jesus
- We train them on Sundays, at Life Groups, & Bible Studies
- We send them by challenging them to serve using their unique gifts and personality to share the life-changing truth of the Gospel
Throughout the World
Through our commitment to missions, we bring practical help and Christ’s love into our hurting world. We do this by partnering with international organizations to plant churches, build schools and orphanages, purchase Bibles, provide medical care, teaching and encouraging church leaders and so much more.
